Question: What time does the race start?

Answer: Events will be held Saturday April 6 and 7. The Kids' Run on Saturday begins at the day at 9:00. The one-mile fun run/walk starts at 9:30 am on Saturday April 6. The 10K and 5K step off at at 10:30 am. On Sunday, April 7 the half-marathon and team relay will start at 7:30 am.


Question: How large is the Run for Home?

Answer: The Run for Home has attracted as many as 1,300 participants. The half-marathon usually has 300 to 500 registered runners.


Question: How can I register?

Answer: Registration is available on-line by following the links available on this website. The registration page also includes a link to download a paper form.We encourage you to register early on-line for the best pricing and to avoid the possibility of the race selling out.


Question: Where can I pick up my race packet?

Answer: Race packets can be picked up in the park pavilion Saturday, April 6 from 8:00am to 11:00 am and Sunday, April 7 from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. The race packet contains last minute race instructions, your timing device, bib number, shirt and promotional items from various vendors.


Question: Is the half-marathon route certified?

Answer: Yes, the certification number is OH 08023 PR.


Question: Is there water on the course?

Water and sports drink will be provided at eight or nine locations on the half-marathon and team-relay route. Water will be available on the 5K and 10K routes.


Question: How long is the half-marathon course open?

Answer: The course will be open for 3-1/2 hours. The 5K and 10K course will be open for two hours.


Question: How is the half-marathon timed?

Answer: Race timing is provided by Enmotive. Results for the half-marathon, team relay, 10K, and 5K will be posted on-line immediately after the race on this website and www.ohiochallengeseries.com. Results of the one-mile fun run will also be posted on this web site, however no times will be posted.


Question: If I register for the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Run for Home but cannot participate, can I receive a refund or transfer my entry to next year?

There are no refunds for race registration fees, however, you can transfer your registration to another person.


Question: What is the 10K/Half Challenge?

Participants who complete both the 10K on Saturday and the half-marathon on Sunday will receive a special light-weight hoodie and compete for additional awards. You can register for both events as a bundle and receive a registration discount.
